Thursday, December 30, 2004 Tsunami Relief Organizations
With the death count at 120,000+ due to the Tsunami in South East Asia, it truly is worth re-posting what I wrote on a couple of different martial arts forums.
Help out how you can.
----------------------------------
Hi Guys,
I thought I would cut this portion out of a previous thread just to highlight some of the various groups taking donations to aid those affected by the Tsunami disaster. I know there are many other groups out there so I encourage you to help out with what you can.
As someone on the radio pointed out, no matter what your political or religious beliefs, if this isn't a cause for you to help, I don't know what is. It really just boils down to one person helping another person in need.
Also I encourage you to add to this list if you hear of anything that can assist those in the disaster zone.
Peace,
-Leo

(I know this set and it is really, really good for developing internal power)
Buddy Tripp of Dragon Gate Internal Arts of Plymouth, MA will teach a 1 day seminar on the Eight Brocades Qigong in Belchertown, MA.
This ancient exercise was developed by Daoists to strengthen the body, mind, and spirit. It consists of eight short movements that develops a tremendous amount of chi or life force in the body. In this one-day workshop you will be introduced to the beginning level of this unique system. In addition you will learn Anmo Gong, the art of massaging your acu-points. Consistent practice of this set gives great health benefits.. This version of the Brocades was taught to Buddy by Lao De Xu of Taiwan.
